Olé Energy Drink is an energy beverage distributed by Sudden Impact Partners, INC.
Olé Energy is different from other energy drinks such as Red Bull because it contains a blend of adaptogenic herbs in its formulation instead of just the standard energy drink ingredients.
The company sent us some samples to review.
Olé Energy Drink Review
Olé Energy's can dispalys a clean design with a simple red on black concept.
Taste
Olé is carbonated like most energy drinks and has a distinct cherry flavor. It starts sweet and finishes a bit tart. Overall, a nice tasting beverage.
ADX7 Technology
They call their blend of adaptogenic herbs ADX7 and base it off of a supplement developed for the 1988 Soviet Track and Field Olympic Team.
While the amounts are proprietary, here are the herbs it contains:
- Eleutherocuccus sentticosus Root and Leaf (Siberian ginseng)
- Aralia mandshurica
- Rhaponticum carthmoides
- Rhodiola rosea
- Schisandra
These herbs are believed to help the body adapt to stress and function better under stressful conditions.
Besides these herbs, Olé Energy also contains amino acids, B vitamins, electrolytes, and of course, caffeine.
Effect/ Verdict
Olé Energy Drink is designed to provide a moderate, yet calm lift and that's pretty much what I experienced. It raised my level of alertness and motivation but didn't push me over the top or produce any jitters.
My only complaint with Olé Energy is the sugar level. I'm not a fan of sugary drinks and it would be nice to see a sugar free version. The sugar in Olé is just 6 grams less than a whole Snickers Candy Bar.
Overall, Olé Energy Drink offers a unique twist on the traditional energy drink concept without sacrificing taste.
Olé Energy is recommended for adults only and not for children or those sensitive to caffeine.
Also, because of the use of herb extracts in this beverage, some may experience unwanted side effects. First time users should drink a small amount, at first, to be sure there are no unknown sensitivities to the herbs used in Olé Energy.
