Alert Caffeine Gum is a gum from Mars Wrigley.

They originally pulled this product (then called Alert Energy Gum) from the market due to pressure from the FDA. However, since the FDA didn't release their caffeine in food mandate as speculated and is now not expected to do so, Wrigley decided to relaunch this product again in 2017.

By 2020 it appeared to be discontinued (again).

This is the first time a major chewing gum brand has developed a caffeinated gum. In the past, most of these chewing gums were either independent brands or an offshoot of an energy drink brand.

Alert Energy Gum is available in two flavors; Mint and Fruit.

This gum is marketed to adults and the label states that it is not recommended for children.
