Arriba Horchata Energy is made by the Arriba Company in California.
For non-spanish speakers, this energy drink's name my be a little foreign.
Arriba means up and horchata is a popular vanilla and cinnamon flavored Mexican drink.
I saw this drink in my local 7-Eleven and decided to give one a try.
Arriba Review
Arriba Horchata is unlike any energy drink I have ever tasted. If Mexican rice pudding was a drink, this is what it would taste like.
It is delicious, but so sweet and creamy that I felt like I was drinking a dessert rather than an energy drink.
Horchata Energy's Active Ingredients
- Taurine
- Guarana
- Ginseng
- Inosotol
- B Vitamins
The 76mg of caffeine comes from the guarana.
The high sugar content and the caffeine in Arriba Horchata have me a little wired to tell the truth, but with sugary drinks there often comes a crash of which I'm bracing for.
I can see Aribba Horchata being a hit with the hispanic community, but whether this drink will translate to the general public remains to be seen.
