Coffee Leaf Tea is a relatively new caffeinated product to the western world and it's made from the leaves of the arabica coffee plant.
A couple of young entrepreneurs wanted to find a way to help organic coffee farmers in Nicaragua and while doing research, found a study touting the health properties of coffee leaves.
Thus the idea for their company, Wize Monkey, and Coffee Leaf Tea was born as a way to help coffee farmers earn more money from their coffee crop especially during times of coffee bean price fluctuation. Also, as a way to give consumers a new healthy hot beverage option.

Coffee Leaf Tea Review
This product looks a lot like regular tea and is steeped pretty much the same; in water just under the boiling point and for about 3 minutes.
If black tea and coffee had a baby, it would taste like Coffee Leaf Tea.
I consumed it black and to me, it tasted like a blend of the two. It was easy to drink but not bitter like tea that's been steeped too long or black coffee. It also had a slightly sweet taste which was nice since I didn't have to add sugar.
At just 20 mg of caffeine per cup, it's a lot like the lift you'd experience from a cup of green tea.
Its claim to fame would be the antioxidant and phytochemical properties in the tea.
It's also a great way for the health-conscious to get more antioxidants and phytochemicals into their diets.
Coffee Leaf Tea is made from organically grown tea leaves and supports Nicaraguan Coffee Farmers.
