Whipped (Dalgona) Coffee
Whipped Coffee or Dalgona Coffee is made by whipping instant coffee, sugar, and boiling water together.
The mixture can then be topped with milk or other whitener and can be served hot or cold.
The recipe used for this entry was a 1:1:1 ratio; 1 tablespoon of instant coffee (We used Waka Instant Coffee), 1 tablespoon white sugar, and 1 tablespoon of boiling water.
Dalgona (Whipped) Coffee Review
This interesting coffee beverage makes a sweet, dessert-like coffee drink that tastes great while having a very creamy mouthfeel.
It's a little too sweet for my liking but not bad if Whipped Coffee is viewed as a dessert. Dalgona Coffee will have less or more caffeine depending on how much instant coffee is used in the ratio and will vary depending on which brand of instant coffee used.
Decaf instant coffee also works for making whipped coffee for those that don't want all the caffeine. This version of Dalgona would have about 6 mg of caffeine.
