Demon Energy Shot
Demon's Tropical Punch flavored energy shot.
Have you seen what the papers are saying about you? Did you know that the New South Whales Government has put you on the black list?
I know Demon Energy Shot, the only thing your guilty of is having 200mg of caffeine in your little 60ml bottle. You haven't killed anyone or even injured anyone, but everyone keeps picking on you.
Well, we like you Demon Energy Shot and we hope you stand up to those self-righteous governmental bullies and aren't banished to the burning lake of fire!
I sampled the tropical punch flavored shot and I must say for an energy shot it wasn't half bad. It was real sweet, but the flavor did a good job hiding the bang. Demon Energy also offers a Citrus Blast flavored shot.
This is what's causing all the controversy. Demon energy has 333mg of caffeine per 100ml and the legal limit for caffeine in a drink is 32mg/100ml. However, Demon says their product is a dietary supplement and not a drink so it doesn't fall under those restrictions. Along with a healthy does of caffeine, Demon Energy Shot packs 2000mg of Taurine, 12mg of Guarana and a hit of B vitamins.
Demon Shot didn't hit me like it's cousin Nos Energy Shot, but I do feel awakened from my late morning slump. I really don't see what the hype is. It's less then having a 3 shot latte, which I'm sure most of those public officials have at least that much caffeine a day sitting in their socially acceptable cafe's....
Personally, I wouldn't choose Demon Energy Shot on a regular basis becuase I like regular energy drinks better and I'm not a fan of artificial sweeteners. Demon provides a nice, fast boost if you don't have the time to drink a 500ml beverage. Hopefully Demon Energy Shot has some good attorneys working for him and the little guy won't be sent back to H. E. double hockey sticks.
