Devils Brew Extreme Caffeine Coffee
Devil's Brew Extreme Caffeine coffee is made using dark roasted Robusta coffee beans.
Because it is Robusta-based it is extremely high in caffeine.
The above caffeine amount is the average one would expect when using 25 g (about 4 tablespoons) of ground coffee and brewing for 3-4 minutes in a French press.
This extremely high caffeinated coffee should be used by seasoned caffeine consumers only who have low sensitivity and high tolerance to the caffeine molecule.
Devil's Brew Review
The company sent us some samples of Devils Brew to try.
During my many years at Caffeine Informer, I've tried quite a few of these "extreme caffeine coffees" and have them ranked here. Personally, I'm not a fan because they contain more caffeine than I like to drink, but they have certainly been embraced by caffeine diehards.
I'm more of a medium-roast Arabica guy, but for a 100% dark-roasted Robusta coffee, the flavor was good. I tried both the Original and Rocket Fuel varieties. Both tasted pretty similar to me. I think fans of this type of coffee will enjoy the taste.
Since I didn't want to be "up all night" as some of the brand's marketing suggests, I made my cup with only 2 tablespoons of ground coffee.
Even with cutting the ground coffee amount in half, I still noticed a big difference in comparison to my normal doubleshot espresso, caffeine-wise.
I felt a substantial lift that lasted for hours.
Overall, Devils Brew Extreme Caffeine delivers on its promise of being highly caffeinated and was enjoyable to drink.
Just use this coffee responsibly.
