G Fuel Energy Drink by GAMMA labs is made by mixing a serving of their dry energy drink mix into a 16 fluid ounces of water.
G Fuel is marketed to gamers whereas G stands for "game".
It comes in a canister or single-serve 7-gram packets and is available in about 39 flavors.
G Fuel is now available in an RTD Canned version.
G Fuel isn't recommended for children or those sensitive to caffeine. Accurate measuring is important to ensure consumers don't accidentally ingest an unsafe amount.
I was recently sent a few packets of the Pink Lemonade flavor to try.
G Fuel Review
I mixed my packet of G Fuel Energy Drink Mix into water as directed. It dissolved pretty easily and the end product was a cloudy pink beverage.
It had a nice pink lemonade flavor that was the expected tart/sweet combination. There was a little of the energy ingredients' taste there as well, but not enough to make it unpleasant to drink.
Since G Fuel is sweetened with ace-k and Sucralose there was a slight aftertaste.
Packed with Energy Ingredients
They sure were able to pack G Fuel with energy, amino acids, vitamins, and antioxidants.
Besides the caffeine, there are 36 functional ingredients along with natural colors, flavors, and artificial sweeteners. (see the whole list below)
I Felt a Nice Lift With G Fuel
The 150 mg (now 140 mg) of caffeine and all the other ingredients gave me a nice mid-day lift.
It wasn't jittery and there wasn't a defined crash afterward. It lasted for about 4+ hours before wearing off.
I've tried many energy mixes over the years and G Fuel is definitely one of the best.
It may be a tad too strong for some, but for the regular caffeine consumer, it seems to be just right.
