Unlike Pepsi One, Pepsi Zero Sugar has zero calories and added ginseng. Below is the evolution of this PepsiCo product.

Pepsi One, launched in 1998, is a higher caffeinated alternative to Diet Pepsi.

It has only 1 calorie of energy per 8-oz serving and is aimed primarily at men (who may not want to admit they're diet-conscious).

In 2005 Pepsi One was reformulation using sucralose (Splenda) and Ace-k for improved sweetness to taste more like regular Pepsi.

Pepsi One also has more caffeine than regular Pepsi, which only has 38mg/12 fl.oz. can.

Pepsi One was discontinued in 2015.
