Pyure o.e.o. Energy Shot is an organic sugar-free energy product. o.e.o. stands for Organic Energy Optimization. Pyure is a maker of a stevia based no calorie sweetener. o.e.o. is their first attempt at an energy shot. I was sent a few samples of Pyure to try out and here's what I discovered.
Pyure o.e.o. Review
There has recently been a huge spike in the number of natural/organic energy shots entering the marketplace. I have tested quite a few over the last 6 months, so I can't help but compare Pyure to the ones I've already tested. I sampled both the citrus and the mixed berry flavors of Pyure o.e.o.. Both were a bit lacking in the flavor department. The most dominant feature was the bitterness of the energy ingredients. They were only lightly sweetened and neither the sweetness nor the flavor covered up the bitterness. I know that 2 fluid ounces can be quickly consumed, but compared to the other shots I've sampled such as Enerji, these were sub-par in the flavor department.
Pyure Made Up Some Ground With Energy
The energy rush experienced with these shots was adequate. The green tea, yerba mate' and guarana did a good job of waking me up without any sugar rush. I like the organic all-natural ingredients used in the product, but I do think the flavor profile could be improved. With a little tweaking Pyure could have a great product on their hands.
