Starbucks Decaf Coffee

Starbucks Decaf Coffee can be made with a number of different decaffeinated coffee blends.
Caffeine by Starbucks Decaf Coffee Cup Size
- Short - 15 mg
- Tall - 20 mg
- Grande - 25 mg
- Venti - 30 mg
The above amounts are posted by Starbucks, however, other independent tests found different results.
A 2006 caffeine test undertaken by the University of Florida showed that a 16 oz serving of decaffeinated brewed coffee had caffeine concentrations of 12 to 13.4 milligrams.
The decaffeination process involves treating the coffee beans prior to roasting. The international standard of decaffeination requires that 97% of the caffeine must be removed. The EU sets this standard at 99.9%.
Many other factors can determine the caffeine in Starbucks Decaf Coffee.
Note: This listing is for Starbucks Brewed Decaf Coffee. Unfortunately they do not list the amounts for their decaf espresso beverages.
