Review

One of the biggest crazes around is Mixed Martial Arts. With MMA becoming so big in the last few years, you would figure it was only a matter of time until there was an energy drink to attach themselves with this new hotness.

Well your wait is over, for all you tough guys that want to parade around wearing your tight fighting themed shirts and giving everyone the illusion that your willing to kick anyone’s butt that even dares to look at you the wrong way while never taking a step in a gym, let alone a cage. Here’s the drink to boost your image, Tapout Energy Drink!

Taste

As I pop the top, I press my nose to the newly formed opening at the top of the can and the aroma of the drink is so delicious. As I sip the contents, my tongue seems to be just as delighted as my nose was previously. The carbonation of Tapout Energy was perfect and the mixed flavor was very unique. First I’m hit with the great taste, then it dissolves into a very refreshing peach flavor, with a slight peach aftertaste.

Ingredients

Each serving of Tapout Energy Drink (473 ml can) contains: Taurine 2000mg, Glucuronolactone 225mg, Caffeine200 mg, Panax Ginseng ROOT 100mg, Pantothenic acid 100mg, Inositol 50mg, Niacinamide 35mg, Vitamin B6 10mg, Vitamin B12 20mcg.

Tapout's Effects

The energy jolt from Tapout wasn’t the punch I’d expect from a Brock Lesnar right hand, yet it was defiantly on par with some of the better drinks on the market. The boost kicked in around the time I finished the can and lasted a few hours. Their was a slight crash, but nothing another Tapout energy drink couldn’t fix! On a serious note, the boost was a border line jittery jolt, yet nothing to overwhelming or anything to complain about.

Verdict

For many of the drinks that jump on popular bandwagons, the company usually simply focuses on can graphics and not taste, yet Tapout Energy Drink seems to do both very well. A sharp looking can mixed with contents that will not disappoint even the toughest of energy drink consumers. So this drink won’t make you tapout, but keep you coming back for more…
