Pepsi Max is a zero-calorie cola found in the UK, New Zealand, Australia, and other non-USA markets.

Pepsi Max in the USA was rebranded as Pepsi Zero Sugar in 2016. It's important to note that the name Max is meant to indicate Maximum Taste - not the amount of caffeine. Confusingly, the original US Pepsi Max (and it's rebrand Pepsi Zero Sugar) does have significantly more caffeine than regular Pepsi!

To reiterate:

  • Pepsi Max found in non-US markets has similar amounts of caffeine to other colas.
  • Pepsi Zero Sugar (US only - formerly called Pepsi Max) has significantly more caffeine than regular Pepsi (~5.75 mg / ounce compared to 3.17 mg / ounce).

Pepsi Max is available is multiple sizes as well as multiple flavors (varies by region):

  • Cherry
  • Raspberry
  • Ginger
  • Vanilla
