Rockstar Perfect Berry (Pink) Energy Drink Review

rockstar-perfect-berry (pink)

Rockstar Pink has been rebranded to Rockstar Perfect Berry.

No can in the energy drink market stands out more than Rockstar Pink.

The bright pink can draws your attention and is that what I think it is? A straw attached?

Perfect Berry no longer has a straw attached.

Even with Pink being obviously aimed at the female market, Rockstar Energy has always made their drinks right, putting the time and effort in not only on Caffeine and Taurine content, but also making them pleasant to the palate.

So I have high expectations for Rockstar Pink the newest drink to carry the Rockstar name.

Zero sugar and zero carbs often mean’s zero taste, yet once again Rockstar Pink rocks your pallet with another incredible sugar-free drink.  Rockstar Pink is supposed to be pink lemonade flavor, yet I found it to be more of a “Sprite” with a hint of strawberry.  Lightly carbonated with a wonderful smooth texture and taste.  Not as heavy as most other energy drinks.  Even lighter I assume if you drink it from the straw that comes attached (I did not use the straw provided).

Rockstar Pink Ingredients

A 12oz can of Pink provides just 10 calories, fitting in with any one’s diet.  Also provides 100% of your daily value of vitamin B3, B5, B6, B12 and Folic Acid.  The energy part comes from 1.22g of there energy blend which is made up of 1000mg Taurine, 120mg caffeine and 100mg Panax Ginseng Root Extract.

Perfect Berry Comes in a 16 fl.oz. can with 240mg of total caffeine and contains the energy blend typically found in Rockstar’s higher caffeinated versions like Rockstar Punched..

12 fl.oz. cans are still available as well.

Yes the can looks like a girls drink, yet there’s nothing girlie about the energy rush of it.  The 12oz Pink has 120 mg caffeine, which per ounce is as much caffeine as you would find in a 16 fl.oz. Rockstar Punched.  And the boost was very comparable to that of a Original Rockstar, lasting about tad over 3 hours, yet Pink’s sugar-free rush slowly faded without any sort of crash.

Rockstar Pink Energy Drink Verdict

The can isn’t the toughest thing you have ever seen, yet the contents definitely make up for it.  The contents not only taste great, but are light while still packing the punch you’re looking for in your Rockstar.  Rockstar has built their name on high quality tasting caffeine pumped drinks and Rockstar Pink only adds to their legacy, if you’re man enough to drink one of course…

So I am a healthy 31 year old female and have been in and out of ER’s and urgent cares for the last 18 months. Each and every time I come out with a clean bill of health ! I drink about two cans a day and I believe that I have formed a reaction to the vitamins in the perfect berry blend.
I have come to have these sensations of something heating up my chest and then extending outwards, I also have had my lips and arms get tingly, sometimes my heart races, my throat sometimes feels like it’s closing up and I can’t swallow, lost 17 pounds randomly and most days don’t have a an appetite.
After my last ER trip I was told that it’s my energy drink consumption that is causing all these weird body sensations.
