Facedrink is a fruit flavored energy shot marketed as "the social drink" Tapping into the social networking craze. With Facebook becoming the biggest thing in the world, it seems every industry is trying to get into the Facebook phenomenon. Well if you though it was just a matter of time before energy drinks got into the game, you were right, and the time is now. Even though the drink isn't called Facebook, a quick glance makes it obvious, and the slogan "Add as Friend" across the front of the shot says enough. Will I be adding facedrink to my energy drink list?
Facedrink Review
Taste
The first thing your senses experience is the total sweetness of Facedrink. If you've had any of the Redline series, the sweetness is very comparable. Besides the intense sweetness, the flavor is alright. Flavor very comparable to a non-carbonated Red Bull. I didn't find it delightful, yet it's only 2.5 ounces so it was manageable.
Energy/ Verdict
The taste wasn't the best, yet most shots don't ace the taste test because if you're reaching for a shot you want instant energy and Facedrink did do a pretty good job. I was feeling the energy in less then 10 minutes and lasted about 90 minutes. Not the longest rush, but if you need a quick pick me up during those long Facebook nights, then Facedrink can definitely be added to your friends list. Reviewed by Brandon Trouten
