Taster's Choice Instant Coffee
Taster's Choice is a popular brand of instant coffee made by Nescafe. In Europe and other parts of the world, it is labeled "Nescafe Gold".
The caffeine content is estimated based on using 1.5 teaspoons of Taster's Choice instant coffee mixed with 8 fl oz of hot water. Nescafe suggests there is 30-35 mg of caffeine in 1 Tsp (however, most people use a heaped teaspoon - about 3 grams of instant coffee).
Varieties of Taster's Choice
- House Blend (light/medium roast)
- French Roast (medium/dark roast)
- Decaf (2-5 mg of caffeine)
- Single Serve Packs
- Flavored Single Serve Packs (25-30 mg of caffeine)
All varieties except those noted above will have about the same amount of caffeine. The roast type only changes the caffeine content slightly. The actual caffeine content of instant coffee can vary due to many factors. Represented above is the average amount you should expect to find.
