Pepsi Zero Sugar is a zero-calorie soft drink marketed primarily in the US. It was formerly called Pepsi Max, which is still used in many regions (UK, NZ, AU, and other European and Asian markets).

It is designed to taste more like regular Pepsi than Diet Pepsi, using the sweeteners Aspartame and Ace-k.

Until 2023, the USA drink contains significantly more caffeine than regular Pepsi and has added ginseng. However, the formula was changed in 2023 to be sweeter and with less caffeine. It is a competitor to Coca-Cola's Coke Zero.

Note that in some regions (like Canada) - it still has a higher amount - 69 mg per 355 mls.

The drink's UK counterpart - Pepsi Max - has a different formulation, and a lower caffeine content there. That contains 42.6 mg per 12-ounce (355ml) can.
