FAB Energy Drink (Forever Active Boost) is a direct marketing energy drink made for and distributed by Forever Living Products.
It is a carbonated, orange/citrus beverage that is sweetened with sucrose, dextrose, and xylitol as well as contains aloe vera gel.
FAB's Energy Blend
FAB is marketed as a drink that provides energy both now and for later.
The now is from the caffeine contained in Guarana but the later is from what they call their ADX7 Technology.
ADX7 Technology - Proprietary Blend of Adaptogenic Herbs, Vitamins, Aminos & Electrolytes.
Looking at the nutrition label we see that their Adaptogenic herbs are:
- Eleutherococcus senticosus root and leaf
- Aralia mandshurica
- Rhaponticum carthamoides
- Rhodiola rosea
Along with this is the usual blend of amino acids and B vitamins common to most energy drinks.
Because of FAB Energy Drink's use of herbs not traditionally found in energy drinks, those new to FAB should exercise caution when first trying the drink to make sure they do not have any allergic reactions to any of its ingredients.
FAB isn't recommended for children or pregnant women.
